EMN Plant Ltd has started work on the new north yell community owned Garth Wind farm. This involves constructing 2km of access roads through deep peat. Some of the road has been floated over the peat using geotextile to minimise the amount of peat disturbed. We are also responsible to install 5 x 160m3 turbine foundations, a substation as well as installing the electrical cabling and switch gear.
